The Carectia Peninsula has endured a grueling 300-year territorial war among three kingdoms. Following a peace treaty aimed at reconstruction, two individuals once hailed as "War Heroes"—the Archmage Uress and his partner, the swordsman Karka—have settled in a forest far from the royal capital. Uress suffers from agoraphobia (fear of leaving the house), and Karka remains constantly concerned for his well-being. One day, while the two are leading their quiet, secluded life, a pair of young siblings who were lost in the forest stumble into their home.
